Birds of the Pacific Northwest, generated on Gemini
Around 11am - dark skies but the temperature was nice. The river overflows its banks in a King Tide.

They all sing different songs but they understand each other despite speciation.

Today the marsh was flooded as it’s a king tide and we’re at Parhelion (it has also been raining but it is always raining). A gull sounded an alarm, and then it was taken up by a crow, and when the crow alarmed every pigeon and blackbird roosting at Point Adams went aloft in a cacophony of wings.

At first I wondered if they were afraid of me – but then I saw the gull, it was chasing away a bald eagle. I thought it was interesting that the crow understood the gull and was able to warn pigeons and blackbirds. They all have unique chirps, calls and song but they must understand each other on a basic level.
